Re: selling books in NYC
Thu, April 29, 2004 - 9:48 AMI have no idea- I'm so sorry. Selling books is tricky- e-bay may turn out to be too much of a hassle. I had a friend once who worked for a discount bookstore at an outlet store strip-mall. She actually turned a profit for a while by buying books from her work with her employee discount and selling them to Powell's. Have you heard of powells? It's in Portland Oregon I believe it's the biggest bookstore in North America.

Fri, April 30, 2004 - 10:55 PMI would try The Strand just because it's so big, but I have no idea what kind of prices they pay.
I know that in Berkeley, the used stores don't pay anywhere near the good money they did when I first moved here 15 years ago. -
