What food would you cut the mold off or out of and eat the rest? for me it's pie, cheese, yogart, bread, jam, sour cream, and cottage cheese. Anything that's too juicy though just seems to all goes bad. Can you tell me what else can be revived?

everything
Sun, April 25, 2004 - 5:52 PMI'll eat anything with mold except for bread... most of the time it's moldy throughout the whole loaf.

Mon, April 26, 2004 - 2:09 AMCheese. Most cheese will still be okay if you cut off the moldy stuff.
Strawberries. Although I have to be really careful because sometimes it can *look* good, but still taste of mold. And that taste can put me off the whole batch. -

Mon, April 26, 2004 - 7:19 AMI ate old mushrooms one time, they still tasted great but they were toxic. I felt awful for a couple of days afterwards. It's impossible to describe how I felt. Shaky, out of sorts, but not like low blood sugar. I couldn't eat mushrooms for almost a year. I eat them cautiously now.

Re: moldy food
Fri, April 30, 2004 - 11:25 PMI only cut mold off of cheese and eat it. I do get mold in my tupper ware that I have residual lunch in because I'm too cheap to do the dishes until I can fully load it up. I can take a long time to fill the dishwasher when you eat off of paper plates and live alone.
